Reset WiFi Stick to Factory Settings

In many cases, if your WiFi Stick isn't performing as expected, resetting it to factory settings could be just the fix you need.  One common scenario for example where we see this helps is when the WiFi Stick's AP (Access Point) isn't broadcasting itself, e.g. the AP_SerialNumber doesn't appear as an available WiFi connection.

To reset it to factory settings, the procedure depends on what version of WiFi stick you have.  There are two.

Hold it down for 5 seconds.  Note it has to be connected to a powered-on inverter.

If that button isn't there, then you have the earlier model and you've got to short two pins for 5 sec to reset it (and again, also while it's connected to a powered on inverter) -
